There has never been a better time for building this business. We are starting this business at such an opportune time. With what the economy has suffered, I have never found people so open to taking a look at an additional way of generating income. Virtually all of us have seen our retirement wealth damaged, our home value decreased and our sense of security in our primary income has fallen. We have all seen people layoff and heard how difficult it is to get a job - not to mention how many people have had their work hours and/or their various compensations cut.
Also with the push for health care reform and the strain on the system of the baby boomers coming of age, health has become a national discussion (of course, eventually our health will be the most important thing in all our lives). It is so easy to talk about health with people these days. There is a growing consensus that we all need a more complete approach to nutrition. It is clear that virtually everyone can benefit from vitamin and low-glycemic food supplements whether it is simply a high-quality daily multi-vitamin, nutritional food bars or a nutrition filled shake instead of the low nutritional foods that tend to surround us at work and at home.
